![]() ![]() The only way to close it is from the system tray mini icon or from the task manager and even then the icon persists in the system tray unresponsively. It stays stuck on this screen indefinitely and when I try to close it using the cross thingy it does not close. I also tried to use the installer from the website but still does not work. I tried to download it from the Windows AppStore but the issue persists. I tried to uninstall the app and reinstall it a dozen times. The only way to completely remove that icon is to terminate the app from the Windows App Settings. When I close the app forcefully using the tray icon or using the task manager the main app does close, but there is a icon that stays in the tray which is completely unresponsive and does not respond to left or right clicks. The only thing that is visible are the 3 dots in the left corner of the screen. When I try and close the app it stops responding as a whole. Spotify does not load the UI properly anymore. ![]() ![]() I found a previous version on a googled website and checked versions until the size of the download file was more than 700-900kb (they're just online downloaders, not the full install file which is 70-80mb) ![]() Clearly a Spotify issue, and one that they should be aware of, and are apparently choosing to ignore? Disappointing. I found a previous version online and rolled back to it and it works, just as it always had. I'm not reinstalling windows just for it to still not work.Ġ6:02:20.740 I Access allowance changed from online: 0 stream: 0, sync: 0, persistent conn: 0 to online: 1 stream: 1, sync: 0, persistent conn: 1Ġ6:02:20.740 I Connectivity policy is initially allow_allĠ6:02:20.740 I Connection type is initially unknownĠ6:02:20.740 I Enabling all persistent connectionsĠ6:02:20.740 I Open storage index header at C:\Users\calwi\AppData\Local\Spotify\Storage\index.datĠ6:02:20.741 I Created or reset storage index at C:\Users\calwi\AppData\Local\Spotify\Storage (this most likely means new install)Ġ6:02:20.894 I GetAdapterConnectionType: windows medium: 0
